Youth Small Business Program Are you 16-29 and ready to build your own business? We can help. The Youth Small Business Program (YSBP) is a free online training program designed to help you turn your business idea into real income. If you’re 16-29 years old and want to join the gig economy, start a full-time business, or just try working for yourself, YSBP gives you the structure, guidance and support to build with purpose. To be eligible for YSBP, you must: Image Self-identify as having experienced mental health and/or addiction challenges Be 16-29 years old and live in Canada Have a practical idea to start or grow your own for-profit small business in the next 6-12 months (any size, full- or part-time) Have access to a computer and reliable internet (smartphones and tablets are not recommended) Be committed to attending course sessions and submitting all assignments. Delivered over 10 weeks in a flexible online format, it combines engaging facilitator-led lessons and peer-coworking sessions to help you learn the skills and build the confidence to start and grow a small business.
